Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026 · Effective: August 23, 2026
The short version
LoomLearn is a free learning service. Use it for learning, be decent to others, keep your account secure, and understand that it's provided as-is. Children under 13 need a parent's or school's consent. You can leave and delete your data anytime.
These Terms are an agreement between you and Riverside Digital Studio LLC, California, USA ("LoomLearn," "we," "us"), covering your use of loomlearn.com and the connected games ("Threads"). By creating an account or using LoomLearn, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use LoomLearn.
1. Who can use LoomLearn
Anyone can learn with LoomLearn. If you are under 13, you may only create an account with verifiable parental consent, or through a school that provides consent for educational use. If you are a parent or teacher creating accounts for children, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
- One person per personal account. Schools may create and manage accounts for their own students.
3. Acceptable use
Please use LoomLearn as intended — to learn. Don't:
- break the law, harass or harm others, or post content that is hateful, threatening, or inappropriate for a learning environment (including in AI-tutor chats);
- try to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts;
- scrape, copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a school.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
4. The AI tutor
Some games include an optional AI tutor. It can be wrong or incomplete and is for learning support only — it is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Please double-check anything important.
5. Content & intellectual property
LoomLearn and its games — the software, lessons, questions, artwork, and branding — belong to us or our licensors, and are provided to you under a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service for learning. Anything you type in remains yours; you grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service (for example, to save your progress or generate a tutor reply).
6. A free service, offered as-is
LoomLearn's personal accounts are free, and we may add, change, or discontinue features. We aim for reliability but can't promise the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoomLearn is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoomLearn and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including a consumer's legal rights).
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using LoomLearn and delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (like intellectual property and liability) will survive termination.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; if a change is material, we'll update the date above and give reasonable notice. Continuing to use LoomLearn after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
